42. Tinder for unfollowing
📣 Real-user report — shared publicly by a Muse user, not independently verified.
The job: Brett Goldstein's first Muse build was a tiny personal tool: a Tinder-style interface for swiping through Instagram accounts to unfollow them. Two minutes, using Muse's native Instagram integration. The unfollow deck is just the example — the case is that throwaway micro-tools like this are now a two-minute conversation instead of a weekend project.
Build me a small web page: a "Tinder for unfollowing" for my Instagram. - Show each account I follow as a card with profile picture and name. - Swipe right to keep, swipe left to unfollow. - Use my connected Instagram account for the follow list and the unfollow actions. - Ask me to confirm before unfollowing anyone. Keep it to one page, no login screen, no database.
What Muse will do:
- Describe the micro-tool in one paragraph
- Let Muse use the native Instagram integration
- Require confirmation before any unfollow action
- Use it once, then throw it away
Why it works: Everyone has a digital junk drawer — 800 followed accounts, 300 unread newsletters. The fix was never hard, just not worth a weekend. When the build takes two minutes, the backlog finally gets cleared.
