Muse is now in Singapore — the fourth market.
On October 28, 2026, Meta officially released its Muse personal AI agent in Singapore — five days after Japan, and the fourth market overall after the US and Canada. Free tier plus a paid plan, iOS / Android / web, and a launch connector set built around the services Singaporeans actually use: Shopee, Grab, Singapore Airlines, ShopBack and Lazada.
The launch, in five facts
🇸🇬 Fourth market
Muse launched in the US on September 8, Canada on September 18, and Japan on October 23. Singapore is next — and the second Asian market in five days. The rollout is now clearly country-by-country, with local connectors as the differentiator.
📱 iOS, Android, muse.ai
Same three doors as every market so far: dedicated mobile apps plus the muse.ai website. You message it like you'd message a person — it plans, opens browsers, fills forms, sends email and books travel on your behalf, and keeps working after you close the app.
💰 Free tier + subscription
Meta says it is free for most of what people need, with subscription plans for heavier use. Meta's announcement quotes no price, so confirm the actual plan and price inside the app before subscribing.
Singapore connectors are the real story
- At launch: Gmail, Google Calendar and Instagram, plus early local partners — Shopee, Grab, Singapore Airlines, Agoda, ShopBack, Klook, Trip.com and Lazada — spanning shopping, groceries, dining and travel.
- What Meta says you can do with them: research products and compare prices before buying on Shopee or Lazada; plan grocery shopping and dining through GrabMart and Grab Dine Out; explore travel, ticketing and reservations through Singapore Airlines, Agoda, Klook and Trip.com; earn cashback on travel and shopping and claim in-store dining deals through ShopBack.
- Rollout caveat: Meta says connector features will roll out progressively, with some experiences becoming available after launch — so not every partner feature may be live on day one.
- Why it matters: Meta Singapore managing director Nicole Tan says Muse is being connected "with some of the most iconic brands in Singapore and the region." The agent's value scales with its connectors, and the Singapore set is the most commerce-heavy launch set yet — shopping, groceries, dining, travel and cashback in one list.
What's not in Singapore yet
- AI glasses — Meta lists Muse on AI glasses as "coming soon" for Singapore, with no date. Zuckerberg's Q3 earnings call dated Muse-on-glasses to November 2026, with no market list — Singapore is not confirmed for that window.
- Full connector features — some partner experiences arrive after launch, per Meta's own caveat above.
- Connect-era features — the voice mode, Realtime Avatar and dedicated agent email announced at Meta Connect in September have no Singapore-specific date either.
The trust layer (what Meta claims)
- Isolated VM per user. Muse runs on a dedicated cloud VM per user ("Muse Secure VM") that holds credentials and connected-service data.
- Blind to secrets. Muse cannot see your passwords or payment methods; sending email or buying something requires your explicit confirmation first.
- You control access. You choose what Muse can access, and can change permissions or disconnect apps at any time.
- Honest caveat: this is Meta's stated design. The same month, researchers showed that shared Muse conversation links were discoverable from public DNS records (Meta paused sharing on Oct 20, restored it Oct 22) — so treat "private" as a design claim worth testing, not a guarantee.
3 prompts to put the Singapore launch to work
If you're in Singapore, these are the connections worth testing first.
Shopee vs Lazada price check
I'm about to buy wireless earbuds in Singapore. Research the same model on Shopee and Lazada through my connected accounts: compare prices including shipping and any voucher or cashback, and tell me the cheapest total option. Do NOT buy anything — show me the comparison first.
GrabMart weekly shop + Dine Out plan
Plan my family's groceries for this week through GrabMart and suggest 2 Dine Out options for Saturday dinner in Singapore: check prices and availability, keep the total grocery list under SGD 150, and flag any ShopBack cashback I can claim. Show me the full plan before ordering anything.
Singapore Airlines + ShopBack trip check
I'm planning a short trip out of Singapore next month. Check Singapore Airlines, Agoda, Klook and Trip.com through my connected accounts for flight and hotel options, compare total prices, and tell me which bookings earn ShopBack cashback and how much. Present the options with costs before you book anything.
Good to know
- This continues the October rollout sprint: Japan five days earlier, glasses in November, and 10M downloads — Singapore is the second market test of whether the agent travels.
