Muse launched in Mexico — fifth market, first in Latin America

On November 5, Meta launched Muse in Mexico — its fifth market and its first in Latin America. The US (Sept 8), Canada (Sept 18), Japan (Oct 23) and Singapore (Oct 28) came first; Mexico is the fastest regional expansion yet, landing 13 days after Singapore and on the same day Muse Voice rolled out in the US.

What launched

🇲🇽 Fifth market, first in LatAm

Meta announced the launch on November 5 via its official Muse account and chief AI officer Alexandr Wang. Mexico is the first Spanish-speaking market and the first in Latin America — a bigger step than the Japan and Singapore launches, which extended an English-first product into Asia. The pace is quickening: three markets in 13 days (Japan Oct 23 → Singapore Oct 28 → Mexico Nov 5), after a 35-day gap between Canada and Japan.

🛒 Seven local connectors

Meta named seven Mexican partners rolling out gradually — not all live on day one: Rappi (delivery), Liverpool and Coppel (department stores), Cinépolis (cinemas), Despegar (travel), Kavak (used cars) and Kueski (fintech). It's the same playbook as Japan (Mercari, Money Forward ME, Ticket Pia) and Singapore (Shopee, Grab, Singapore Airlines): pair the agent with the services people already use daily, and let Muse book, order and compare through them.

⚠️ The September confusion, cleared up

Mexico was named in Meta's French- and German-language Connect posts in September, alongside the US and Canada — which led community sites to claim Mexico was already supported. But as of Oct 31, the confirmed markets were still four, and no dedicated Mexico launch existed. This Nov 5 announcement is the first official one. If you tried Muse in Mexico in September and it worked, you were early — now it's official.

The honest read

  • The connector list is the story. Japan got Mercari and Ticket Pia; Singapore got Shopee, Grab and Singapore Airlines; Mexico gets Rappi, Liverpool and Cinépolis. Meta is localizing the agent market by market instead of shipping a generic English agent everywhere — and the local partner is what makes the agent useful on day one, not the model.
  • "Rolling out gradually" is doing real work. Meta used the same phrase for Singapore's connectors. It means the announcement date is not the date every connector works — check in the app before assuming Rappi or Liverpool is live for you.
  • No price, no entry-point detail. The announcement didn't quote a subscription price or spell out entry points for Mexico. In the four earlier markets the way in was the Muse app (iOS/Android) or muse.ai, free tier plus subscription — expect the same, but that's the pattern, not a Mexico-specific confirmation.
  • Voice is still US-only. Muse Voice rolled out in the US on the same day (Nov 5), but Meta has given no date for it in Mexico — or in Canada, Japan or Singapore. See Muse Voice.
  • What's next is unannounced. Meta has cited compute intensity and local-connector work as the reasons Muse isn't global yet. Five markets in under two months is fast for an agent that has to be wired into each country's services — the next market will likely be telegraphed the same way: a local partner list, then a launch.

5 prompts for Mexico (once the connectors roll out)

These assume the local connectors are live for your account — if one isn't there yet, Muse will tell you. Ask in Spanish or English; the connectors are the Mexican ones either way.

Rappi: the Friday-night order

Order Friday dinner for four from Rappi: tacos al pastor, a vegetarian option, and drinks. Compare the top 3 taquerías near [COLONIA] by rating and delivery time, keep it under $600 MXN total, and stop before checkout — show me the cart first.

Liverpool vs. Coppel: the price check

I'm looking at [PRODUCT] — check the price at Liverpool and Coppel, tell me which is cheaper today, whether either has it in stock at a store near me, and if there's a promotion or meses sin intereses that changes the math. Don't buy anything.

Cinépolis movie night

Plan a movie night for two this weekend at Cinépolis: what's playing, which showing fits after 7pm, and the total for two tickets. Pick the best-rated option and tell me the showtime — I'll confirm before you book.

Despegar: the long weekend

Plan a 3-day weekend from Mexico City using Despegar: flights + hotel under $8,000 MXN total, leaving Friday after 6pm. Show me the two best options with the trade-off between price and flight time, and don't book until I pick one.

Kavak: the used-car sanity check

I'm considering a used [MODEL, YEAR] on Kavak. Find comparable listings, tell me the price range, what the inspection covers, and flag anything that looks overpriced vs. the market. I'm not buying today — I want the honest read first.
